"Sometimes, it's the little things that take up the most room in your heart." - Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson

Calling all pet parents, Sacred Space 69's product line has expanded!  My Calvin, a Terrier mix, and Hobbes, a domestic shorthair, are the firsts to don Sacred Space 69's Customized Crystal Collars aka Triple Cs.

Calvin and Hobbes are both rescues.  Hobbes arrived in my life on June 25th, 2022 during a work crisis when he was about a year and six months.  He was a newborn kitten found in an alley on a stormy Thanksgiving weekday. It's been said that cats are the best therapists and I could not agree more.  Hobbes has always been perceptive.  He knows when I'm in dire emotional distress, and comes to my rescue.  Speaking of rescues, Calvin has a similar story of abandonment.  He was left tied outside a shelter when he was a puppy.  Coincidentally, Calvin is about the same age as Hobbes when he stole my heart.  He was given a forever home at PetCo's 25th Anniversary Adoption Event on June 2nd, 2024.  A sole feline fan no more, I'm all for canine cuddles now!

Hobbes and I have been in SS69's headquarters in Brooklyn for the past six months working on our next endeavors.  I am happy to report that Calvin, and most especially Hobbes, have been key to Angela's trauma with and fear of animals.  I say, that it was the perfect space for Prolonged Exposure as she is now able to hold and pet both furry babies.  Angela would be the first to tell you that she's come a long way.

Taking into consideration both Calvin and Hobbes' traumatic beginnings; and after Christopher Petrocelli of From the Mines' suggestion of placing Dalmation Jasper in Calvin's water bowl, we thought of making crystal collars with our newly acquired 4mm beads.

Calvin's Triple Cs was made with Dalmatian Jasper, Obsidian and Hematite; and Hobbes' crystals are Dalmatian Jasper as well, with Rhodonite and Tiger's Eye.

Overall, Calvin and Hobbes have low frequency needs or grounding hence the choices.  For specific benefits of each crystal, please search through our website.  If interested in Sacred Space 69's Triple Cs for your four-legged furry babies, please reach out or message us.

Mental health is one of the most important conversations of our time. Millions of people worldwide are searching for ways to manage anxiety, overcome depression, process trauma, and find a sense of inner calm. While modern psychology and psychiatry offer powerful tools, many people are discovering that ancient spiritual practices — including chakra healing — can complement their mental health journey in meaningful ways. At Sacred Space, we believe that caring for your energy body and caring for your mind are not separate pursuits. They are two paths leading to the same destination: wholeness.More

“Good juju” is more than a trendy phrase tossed around on social media. At its core, it reflects something deeply human: the desire to invite positive energy, protection, balance, and intention into our lives. Long before manifestation, journals and wellness influencers, cultures across the world practiced rituals designed to shift energy and create harmony between the physical and spiritual worlds.More

This year's Nurses Week theme — The Power of Nurses — could not be more fitting. Every year from May 6–12, the world pauses to recognize the men and women who show up tirelessly, compassionately, and often invisibly to hold space for those in their most vulnerable moments. But 2026 asks us to go further than gratitude. It asks us to truly reckon with the power nurses carry — the power to heal, to witness, to transform lives at their most fragile.More

April 25, 2026 marked the beginning of Uranus’ sustained transit through Gemini, a cycle that astrologers associate with major shifts in communication, technology, learning, and how people connect. Uranus represents disruption, innovation, and sudden change. Gemini rules information, language, media, and networks. Together, this transit is often described as a period of unexpected shifts in communication and ideas—a time when the way we think, talk, and share information changes quickly and unexpectedly. On a broader level, this era is linked to rapid advancements in technology, especially in AI, media, and digital communication, along with faster information cycles and new ways of learning and interacting.More

In a world where phrases like “good vibes only” and “raise your frequency” are everywhere, it’s easy to dismiss them as feel-good spirituality.  Online platforms like SacredSpace69.com highlight a deeper idea: that human energy, intention, and awareness are not merely abstract notions—they can serve as practical tools for transformation. Rooted in a mission to foster a welcoming community that nurtures holistic well-being, spiritual growth, and self-discovery, Sacred Space 69 offers intentional products and services designed to support balance, healing, and meaningful connection. Interestingly, modern science is beginning to echo aspects of this ancient wisdom.More

When I first discovered this Expo, I was at the beginning of my spiritual journey. I attended as a curious beginner exploring holistic wellness, walking through the event as a buyer eager to learn. Years later, after opening my own holistic wellness business, I returned—not as a visitor, but as one of the 200 vendors.
