How to Trust the Journey When Nothing Makes Sense

Because Growth Often Begins Where Certainty Ends

“Make that change, let's start today (start today)

Get outta bed, get on your way

Don't be scared, your dream's right there

You want it (you want it) reach for it.” - Ultra Nate

The first time I heard those words in Free by Ultra Naté, I danced to them without really understanding their meaning. Years later, they hit differently.

Life has a funny way of bringing songs back to us when we need them most.

There have been seasons in my life when anxiety felt like a constant companion. Not the occasional worry that comes and goes, but the kind that sits quietly in the background, questioning every decision, every risk, every possibility. The kind that convinces you that staying where you are is safer than taking a chance on something new.

I've learned that anxiety often shows up right before growth.

It appears when we're standing at the edge of something unfamiliar—a new opportunity, a new relationship, a new chapter, or even a new version of ourselves. We want guarantees before we move forward. We want a map before we begin the journey.

But life rarely works that way.

The most transformative experiences of my life didn't arrive with certainty or guarantees. They arrived wrapped in doubt, unanswered questions, and more than a few sleepless nights. I often wondered if I was taking the wrong path, but my heart kept pulling me toward something greater than my fears could understand.

Looking back now, I realize that every step I was afraid to take led me exactly where I needed to be.

That's the thing about faith.

It's not certainty.

It's trust.

It's choosing to believe in something greater than your fear when the outcome is still unknown.

There is a sacred space between fear and faith. It's the place where anxiety tells us to hold back, but our soul gently encourages us to move forward. It's uncomfortable because we're no longer standing in the familiar, yet we haven't fully arrived at what's next.

That space can feel lonely.

But it is also where transformation begins.

I've come to believe that trusting the process doesn't mean having all the answers. It means allowing yourself to take the next step without needing to see the entire path. It means accepting that growth is often messy; healing is rarely linear, and sometimes the greatest act of courage is simply continuing forward.

When anxiety starts to take over, I try to remind myself of something simple:

Every challenge I've faced before eventually became part of my story.

Every setback taught me something.

Every ending created room for a new beginning.

And every leap of faith strengthened my trust in myself.

Maybe that's what we're all learning.

Not how to eliminate fear, but how to move forward despite it.

If you're standing in that space between fear and faith right now, know that you're not alone. Your uncertainty does not mean you're on the wrong path. Sometimes it means you're growing into the person you're meant to become.

The journey may not make sense today.

But one day, you'll look back and see that what felt like falling was actually teaching you how to fly.

Trust the journey.

Trust your heart.

Trust yourself.

And when fear tries to convince you otherwise, remember:

Your dream is right there.

Mental health is one of the most important conversations of our time. Millions of people worldwide are searching for ways to manage anxiety, overcome depression, process trauma, and find a sense of inner calm. While modern psychology and psychiatry offer powerful tools, many people are discovering that ancient spiritual practices — including chakra healing — can complement their mental health journey in meaningful ways. At Sacred Space, we believe that caring for your energy body and caring for your mind are not separate pursuits. They are two paths leading to the same destination: wholeness.More

“Good juju” is more than a trendy phrase tossed around on social media. At its core, it reflects something deeply human: the desire to invite positive energy, protection, balance, and intention into our lives. Long before manifestation, journals and wellness influencers, cultures across the world practiced rituals designed to shift energy and create harmony between the physical and spiritual worlds.More

This year's Nurses Week theme — The Power of Nurses — could not be more fitting. Every year from May 6–12, the world pauses to recognize the men and women who show up tirelessly, compassionately, and often invisibly to hold space for those in their most vulnerable moments. But 2026 asks us to go further than gratitude. It asks us to truly reckon with the power nurses carry — the power to heal, to witness, to transform lives at their most fragile.More

April 25, 2026 marked the beginning of Uranus’ sustained transit through Gemini, a cycle that astrologers associate with major shifts in communication, technology, learning, and how people connect. Uranus represents disruption, innovation, and sudden change. Gemini rules information, language, media, and networks. Together, this transit is often described as a period of unexpected shifts in communication and ideas—a time when the way we think, talk, and share information changes quickly and unexpectedly. On a broader level, this era is linked to rapid advancements in technology, especially in AI, media, and digital communication, along with faster information cycles and new ways of learning and interacting.More
